Child Care Service

We are pleased to offer a temporary child care service room at the Bangkoku Shinryokan for participants of OKINAWA COLLOIDS 2026.
This service is available exclusively to registered participants of the conference.
Please note that the Organizing Committee of OKINAWA COLLOIDS 2026 and the Division of Colloid and Surface Chemistry of the Chemical Society of Japan are not responsible for any matters arising from the agreement between parents/guardians and the child care service provider.

1. Eligibility

The childcare service is available for children of participants attending Okinawa Colloids 2026.

2. Eligible Age

Children aged from 6 months to 12 years are eligible.

3. Capacity

Up to 10 children Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Once capacity is reached, applicants will be placed on a waiting list.

4. Location

Bankoku Shinryokan (Conference venue) The exact location of the childcare room will be provided by email only to those who have completed registration.

5. Fee

Free of charge

7. Application Procedure

Applicants wishing to use the childcare service are requested to review the Terms of Use (PDF) and submit the application form via the link below.

Application Deadline: Wednesday, September 30, 2026 (by the end of the day) After submitting the application form, a confirmation email will be sent by World Kids. If you do not receive a response by Wednesday, October 6, 2026, please contact the provider using the telephone number or email address listed above.

8. Things parents/guardians need to provide
  • Participation Certificate ID
  • (2 or 3) sets of clothes
  • (2) Towels
  • Favorite a blanket or toys
  • Meals, Snacks, Drinks
For infants
  • Diapers and Wipes
  • Formula milk, Bottles, Hot water
  • Pacifier
  • Bibs

** We can feed your child only what you provide on that day. We will only provide additional water and tea.

9. Other Important Notices
  • Please refrain from bringing any valuables.
  • As a general rule, we do not provide medical care or treatment, including the administration of medications.
  • Children with a fever over 37.5°C (99.5°F) or any signs of illness should not be brought to the childcare service.
  • Children who appear unwell at the time of arrival will not be admitted for care that day.
  • If a child develops any of the above symptoms during care, parents/guardians will be contacted and must arrange for prompt pick-up.
  • All personal information provided will be kept confidential.
  • Liability insurance does not cover damage or injuries caused by children.
  • In the event of a disagreement between parents/guardians and the childcare service provider, the childcare service reserves the right to make the final decision.
